2nd Annual MWV Photo Contest

It is that time of year again to dig through your old photos or get snapping! Mt Washington Valley’s 2nd annual Photo Contest hosted by Bernadette Friberg of Badger Realty requests all entries to be submitted by October 15th, 2009.

Back by popular demand is the theme “There’s No Place Like Home”. “So many people had such a unique interpretation of the theme that it seemed like a good one to continue with” says Bernie. “I think we all feel at home in this beautiful area and the feelings of “home” do come out in many creative ways “. Bernie invites you to take a look at last year’s winners on-line at the photo contest website http://www.mwvphotocontest.com/ or by stopping in to Badger’s North Conway office and asking to preview the “2009 Calendar for Charity”. There is usually a story behind each photo and Bernie enjoys hearing the stories and meeting the photographers who share in her passion. Besides selling Real Estate for the past 25 years, Bernie has also become the photographer for Badger Realty. In addition, Bernie has been very active in photographing the MWV Theater company for their 2009 venue of musicals and enjoys photographing other events affiliated with her friends and family ties.

There is NO cost! Complete an on-line submission form for up to 10 favorite photos that you would like to enter. Photos can be submitted either digitally through http://www.mwvphotocontest.com/ or dropped off to Bernie c/o Badger Realty at 2633 Main St.North Conway, NH 03860. See contest Rules and Details for photo size requirements as some restrictions may apply.

Once again, many local sponsors affiliated with Bernie through the real estate industry have stepped up to the plate to help make this contest another success. After expenses for promoting the contest, sponsorship monies are being made available in Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place photos in each of 3 categories; Student, Amateur and Pro/Semi-Pro. Details on prizes to be announced before the October 15th deadline and will be updated on-line or by contacting Bernie@Badgerrealty.com 603-356-5757 x 310.

Bernie urges everyone with an eye for photography to take full advantage of this wonderful opportunity to show off your photos and become a part of a bigger picture as the winning photographs will be used in the 2010 “Calendar for Charity”. Calendar sales are a fundraiser to help local charity organizations. Last year’s Charity recipient, “Starting Point” asked to be kept on another year. In addition “The Mother Seton House” has been selected added as a second charity recipient for the upcoming calendar portion of this community wide event.
