While I was out today inspecting the new cross country ski trails that are being built this summer for the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation near the Eagle Mountain House in Jackson, he stopped to take this photo to remind all of us why we live here. Whether you live in Jackson, Bartlett, North Conway, Madison, or even in the Western Maine area, views like this are available for your enjoyment. For those of you who want to just sit and sip a cup of coffee and soak up the beauty, you can and for the active person, you can hike, swim, canoe or kayak, horseback ride, bike living here is like a vacation.
